It is with deep regret that we have to announce the National Show will be a two day show, after the final closing date we were substantially down on our entries from previous years, so we feel we have no option than to have a full and interesting show on Friday 30th July and Saturday 31st July.
It is such a shame we have had to come to this decision, but we feel with the lower entries will result in to many breaks if we keep it as a 3 days, whereas going to 2 days we can put a timetable together and all 4 rings will be full at all times. We will publish the new timetable early next week.
Our decision to run the show on the Friday and Saturday is we still would have had to vacate the showground on the Sunday as DBEC have another show starting on the Monday, this way people are most welcome stay over on the Saturday night and go home at their leisure on the Sunday. We will of course refund Saturday night stabling if required. We will also refund entries if we put the classes on the Friday instead of Saturday and you cannot make it to the show.
We are hoping because of the terrible time we have all been though over the last 18 months that next year we will be back up to our usual three day show.
All refunds must be applied for by email to

Due to an ECAHO rule change which means that none of our ECAHO judges can judge another Pure Bred Class until after they have judged their ECAHO Classes we have had to amend our timetable which is now attached, this also shows the change of judges which were announced last week.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Alan Preston & Scott Benjamin not being able to leave Australia, our judges for the Nationals will now be Mrs Helen Hennekens-van Nes and Mr Koenraad Detailleur, the timetable with which classes they are judging will be published early next week.
We will also be swapping our Novice Ridden Judge, Laura Rowe to the Restricted Ridden Classes, Sue Helen Shuttleworth will now be judging the Novice Classes.

National Show Entry Forms - please note that although the stabling form indicates that you can arrive on the Showground on the Wednesday, this is incorrect. Arrival on the showground is Thursday 29th July, all competitors must leave the showground on Sunday 1st August. There are only permanent stables available.

We strongly suggest that you should download and study the schedule before entering online.

Some classes have specific conditions of entry and these should be checked within the schedule.

It is your responsibity to ensure you are eligible for the classes entered - entry fees may not be refunded if you enter incorrectly.
